BEACH

BEACH (Fagus L.) is called “QUEEN OF THE WOODS”. The trees reach a height of 25-30 metres and live up to 300 years. The brew made with beech leaves has anti-inflammatory and disinfectant properties.
The tree is easy to grow, although it has rather high soil requirements.
* soil: rich, well aerated, moist
* soil pH: very acid, alkaline
* sun exposure: sensitive to drought
* uses: regions with moist soil and gentle winters
