LAURELS TREES

Laurus nobilis, which common names include laurel tree, has been a symbol of victory since ancient times. A wreath of bay laurels was given as the prize in ancient Greece to honour heroes, winners of the Olympic Games and poets. A laurel tree can be given as part of congratulations expressed because of success. The plant likes bright and warm places. It exhibits good tolerance to sprinkling, but this should not be done in the sun. In winter it is good to put the laurel tree in a place with temperature of about 10°C. In summer it can be placed outside on a balcony. We recommend miniature laurel trees which are beautifully shaped and can be ordered with a decorative plate with a special inscription.
